Due to discrepancies in the documents, a Ukrainian left his Volkswagen at the Transcarpathian customs

On the night from Monday to Tuesday, October 29, a passenger car Volkswagen Passat driven by a citizen of Ukraine arrived at the customs control zone of the customs post "Uzhgorod" of the Transcarpathian Customs. The man was going from Germany to Ukraine on private affairs.

During the examination of the documents documents submitted by the citizen for the customs control, customs officers found discrepancies in the data from the letter of the customs authorities of Slovakia. Also, the customs officers had doubts about the declared cost of the car.

After examination of the documents provided by the Slovak party, it was established that the cost of the car was 6600 Euro, and not 3750 Euro, as stated in the documents provided to the Transcarpathian customs officers. In addition, it was found out that the seller of the car was a foreign company, which was also different from that stated in the documents provided to the Ukrainian customs authorities.

Thus, the citizen of Ukraine, committed actions aimed to move the passenger car Volkswagen Passat across the customs border of Ukraine hidden from the customs control by submitting the documents containing false information.

These actions contain signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.

Currently, the report on violation of customs regulations was made, the car worth 212,842 UAH was seized.
