This morning, Irshava rescuers were reported about a fire in a car "BMW 318". The driver of the car, moving on the road between the villages of Bilky and Imstychevo, noticed smoke coming out of the trunk.
The driver immediately stopped to find out what was wrong. Once the man opened the trunk, flames began bursting outside. After his attempts to put out the fire on his own using a fire extinguisher failed, the man called the Rescue Service "101". Also, while trying to extinguish the fire, the driver suffered I-II degree thermal burns of the face and the left hand.
Rescuers of the 5th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Irshava were working at the scene.
The cause of the fire and damages are being established by competent services. One if the probable causes is short circuit.
