As informed on the site of the regional police, on the initiative of the management of Uzhgorod Police Department, this morning, the police began an investigation to establish all the circumstances of the yesterday’s incident in the pool "Aqua Rio Park". However, the police site refers to the place as: "the pool near the "Pidzamok" park in Uzhgorod".
The reason for the action was the information that appeared in online media yesterday, June 23, that a child had nearly drowned there. Local publications referred to the comment of the chief doctor of the institution where the child was provided first aid.
Although, law enforcement agencies received no reports or complaints about the incident, they started an investigation, it is referred in the statement.
