Emotions and tears of joy in the morning winter sun, flags, flowers and lots of hugs. Uzhgorod met the 15th battalion, which returned to the permanent location for the restoration of combat capability and, of course, long deserved rest.
As we reported earlier, the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade, known as the "Transcarpathian Legion", returns from the front. Yesterday in Vynogradiv, they met the battalion "Tisa", and near Uzhgorod – the medical company and the tank battalion. Today, in Uzhgorod, on the territory of the military unit, the defenders were welcomed and hugged by families, friends, volunteers and fellow soldiers.
Now the units of the 128th Brigade, some of which are still on the way to permanent locations, will have time for recovery and new training. The troops are happy to be at home and in a peaceful atmosphere, but they emphasize: once they receive the order, they are ready to go back to the front to defend the Motherland in the Russian-Ukrainian War.
