Czechs saw a messy Masaryk Square (PHOTOS)

Today, October 30, a delegation of the Czech Republic is visiting Transcarpathia. On the occasion of the national holiday – Independence of Czechoslovakia – the guests had to inaugurate a renovated for the common funds T.H.Masaryk Square in Uzhgorod. However, when the delegation came to the park, it was found that, in the best traditions of Ukraine, the work has not yet been completed.

With the naked eye it was evident that they were showing the Czechs "Potemkin villages". The workers, who were standing nearby, admitted: everything had been brushed up at the last moment, even the benches had been put only temporarily, because the foundations had not been poured yet.

The same story is with lamp posts: they are there, but they do not have bulbs. The paths have not been paved either.   Only main avenue and several flower beds in Masaryk Square have been fixed up, although what was the sense to spend money on beds when weather forecasters predict first snow?

But since the Czech guests in total turmoil seemed to notice nothing at all, the officials can breathe a sigh of relief and put a check mark next to the question of the development of international friendship.
