Customs Service plans to revise its risk management system and open a business intelligence system within six months.
The State Customs Service is planning to launch a mobile application “e-Borders” in 2020, which will allow to receive all services from the customs office via smartphone and to monitor the situation at the border online.
This was reported by the head of the State Customs Service Maxim Nefyodov, the hromadske reported.
“Next year, we want to introduce the mobile application “e-Borders”, which will allow every person not only to understand what is really happening at the border, but also to receive the services that the state should provide for those who want to cross the border,” – Maxim Nefyodov said.
Customs Service plans to revise its risk management system and open a business intelligence system within six months.
In particular, it will open an open data portal and automatic services for classification and integration with databases of other countries.
“We have an obligation, according to the presidential decree, to disclose impersonal information about the customs value of goods.
In the coming months, we want to introduce a system of self-declaration of vehicles, and after that of other relatively simple goods carried by citizens. This will not only simplify the process but also make it cheaper,” – Nefyodov explained.
The State Customs Service is also working with container lines that launch an international monitoring system. Using blockchain technology, it will allow you to track the movement of each container around the world.
