On May 31, 2018, the contest of creative students’ works on the subject of "Organic Chemistry" was held at the Uzhgorod Trade and Economic College. Students used the acquired knowledge on chemistry in their creative works. Each of the students offered an individually designed or constructed model of organic matter and named it in accordance with the international nomenclature UIPAC.
The initiator and organizer of the competition was a chemistry teacher Erica Ogar. Students were told that the system of creative education is aimed at forming their creative thinking, developing intellectual abilities.
Student works amazed with their diversity: the design of organic compound 3D-models, embroidery, rotating mechanisms, food with images of organic substances, chemical decorations and a number of others.
Such competitions take place in the college every year. Each time students demonstrate their creativity and ingenuity. The contest showed to boys and girls that even such complex subjects as special chemistry can be learned in a fun and interesting way.
