COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of October 22 in Transcarpathia and Ukraine

During the past day, October 21, 366 people sought emergency medical care, 38 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 38 were suspected of having COVID-19.

993 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

173 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 11 of them are medical workers, and 7 are children.

For the past 24hrs, four deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 343 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.   

Overall, as of 9:00 am on October 22, 2020, 12285 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 1166 are health care workers and 683 are children.
