COVID-19 in Transcarpathia, Uzhgorod and Ukraine as of 9:00 on May 13

764 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. 

"During the past day, May 12, 408 people sought emergency medical care, 2 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 6 were suspected of having COVID-19" – the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.

212 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected. 16 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 2 of them are medical workers. Overall, as of 9:00 am on May 13, 2020, 764 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 177 are health care workers and 41 are children. 5611 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out.

In Uzhgorod, as of the morning of May 9, 282 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

10 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours. 68 coronavirus patients are health care workers. 

48 people have recovered  

6 persons have died.
  
48 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 180 are on outpatient treatment, 

5 Uzhgorod citizens are in self-isolation 
 
In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 18 visits, 103 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. In total, since the onset of the disease, 269 visits have been made, 1142 samples of biological materials have been collected for PCR tests.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on May 4, there have been 16425 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 439 were fatal, 3716 patients have recovered. During the day, 402 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

Lviv region – 870 cases; 
Luhansk region – 42 cases; 
Mykolaiv region – 225 cases; 
Odesa region – 680 cases; 
Poltava region – 257 cases; 
Rivne region – 1045 cases; 
Sumy region – 157 cases; 
Ternopil region – 1028 cases; 
Kharkiv region – 672 cases; 
Kherson region – 165 cases; 
Khmelnytsky region – 196 cases;

The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of May 13, 2020, the Center has received 1038 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases.
