COVID-19, as of 9:00 on June 1 in Ukraine, Transcarpathia, Uzhgorod

 1206 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Transcarpathia. 

"During the past day, May 31, 351 people sought emergency medical care, 4 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 7 were suspected of having COVID-19" – the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.

182 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

17 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 6 of them are medical workers, 1 is a child.

Overall, as of 9:00 am on June 1, 2020, 1206 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 273 are health care workers and 77 are children. 12224 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out. 280 patients have recovered.

As for Uzhgorod, as of the morning of June 1, 390 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

191 people have recovered  

6 persons have died.
  
25 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 168 are on outpatient treatment.

167 Uzhgorod citizens are in self-isolation 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 1 visit, 12 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. In total, since the onset of the disease, 427 visits have been made, 2340 samples of biological materials have been collected for PCR tests.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on June 1, there have been 24012 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 718 were fatal, 9690 patients have recovered. During the day, 340 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

Volyn region – 932 cases;  

Dnipropetrovsk region – 942 cases;  

Donetsk region – 163 cases;  

Zhytomyr region – 742 cases;  
Transcarpathian region – 1206 cases; 
Zaporizhzhya region – 447 cases; 
Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1420 cases; 
Kirovohrad region – 514 cases; 
Kyiv – 3043 cases; 
Kyiv region – 1600 cases; 
Lviv region – 1700 cases; 
Luhansk region – 47 cases; 
Mykolaiv region – 294 cases; 
Odesa region – 896 cases; 
Poltava region – 270 cases; 
Rivne region – 1770 cases; 
Sumy region – 170 cases; 
Ternopil region – 1176 cases; 
Kharkiv region – 1083 cases; 
Kherson region – 178 cases; 
Khmelnytsky region – 454 cases; 
Chernivtsi region – 3377 cases; 
Cherkasy region – 406 cases; 
Chernihiv region – 177 cases. 
The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of June 1, 2020, the Center has received 496 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases.
