Counterfeit money was seized in a Transcarpathian bank

Last night, the Secretariat of the National Bank of Ukraine reported to Uzhgorod police about the seizure of counterfeit national currency notes. The Office of the National Bank of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region examined a suspicious banknote which had come from the Transcarpathian Regional Office of the CB "Privatbank" PJSC. The 50 hryvnia banknote was seized by an employee of the bank branch at the Mukachevo market "HID". According to the examination report, the bill was recognized as counterfeit and withdrawn from circulation.
