As we already informed, today, there was a fire in one of the buildings of Uzhgorod Central City Clinical Hospital. Our correspondent visited the site of the fire and found out some details.
The fire occurred in the basement just below the reception area. In order to prevent the fire from spreading over the entire building, firefighters had to pour water on it.
In addition, medics and rescuers had to evacuate patients from the upper floors of the hospital above the site of the fire.
The building is temporarily without electricity, and the reception hall corridors are now looking like shots from a horror movie.
However, the hospital staff have already started to fix it up.
The cause of the fire are to be determined by experts.
