Dear residents of the region!
We congratulate you on the Day of Unity of Ukraine.
January 22, 1919, the united Ukrainian state appeared on the Ukrainian land – Ukrainian and Western Ukrainian People’s Republics united.
The Reunion Act confirmed that despite the diversity of traditions and unique historical paths of each region, the Ukrainian people want to live in their own independent state. It can not be either divided or enslaved.
Today our state faces new challenges. In eastern Ukraine, Ukrainian patriots are defending its unity and indivisibility, often at the cost of their lives. There are a lot of our fellow Transcarpathians among those heroes.
We believe that united with the idea of a democratic society, common European future, we will achieve the goal.
Our strength is in unity! May peace and God’s grace be with you!
