Coffee with the Mayor and discussion with the chief architect: the City Workshop has started in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

Today, the "City Workshop" has started in Uzhgorod and it will run until the end of the week.

The event includes many campaigns dedicated to urban space. On Monday, June 19, it was "Coffee without ties" with the Mayor, discussion with the chief architect of Uzhgorod Oleg Borshovsky "Public space of the city: prospects and development."

On Nezalezhnist embankment, everyone could ask questions to people that are responsible for how the regional center looks like and will look like. The mayor promised that the meeting was not the last one, and promised to meet with the public again at the end of the week.

And Oleg Borshovsky outlined the concept of "public space" and listed the features of all its major facilities in the city – 17 squares, 5 embankments, parks, streets, etc., their current state and the vision of the local government as to their development, improvement, attractiveness for tourists and for residents of Uzhgorod.      

Also, today’s program included the presentation of the city development strategy and the opening of the photo exhibition "Uzhgorod: another perspective."

Overall, during the week, at the location "City Workshop", people will be able to talk with officials of the City Council every day at 10 am in the format "Coffee without ties", – the press service of Uzhgorod city council reported.
