Transcarpathian region is the only one among the western regions of Ukraine where state authorities have not supported the principal demands of the citizens. Regional Council have not voted neither for support of the general national strike nor for the demadns of government resignation. Well, people did it instead of the regional deputies. The demands were announced at the public meeting where people gathered for Uzhgorod Euromajdan at the Theatre Square.
