The number of car accidents on the Ukrainian roads increases every day, and most experts even say that number of deaths on the roads will only grow, writes Komsomolska Pravda.
According to statistics, during the first 6 months of this year the number of accidents increased by 10% compared to the same period in 2011.
Experts rated the most dangerous roads in our country, analyzing the number of accidents and injured in the first half of the year. According to the police, the mortality rate as a result of car accidents in Ukraine is one of the highest in Europe. We are just fall behind Russia and Greece. Journalists believe that the cause of this sad statistics is related with extremely low culture of driving, poor roads and inadequate control over traffic safety.
Thus, the most dangerous Ukrainian roads are as follows:
– M-04 Znam’janka-Luhansk-Izvaryne,
– M-03 Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhanskiy,
– M-05 Kyiv-Odesa
– M-18 Kharkiv-Simferopol-Alushta-Yalta
– M-06 Kyiv-Chop
– M-14 Odesa-Melitopol-Novoazovsk.
These roads have the highest number of accidents with injured and dead.
