Chop deputies ask Uzhgorod interdistrict prosecutor to report

During the session of Chop City Council held on January 13, deputies adopted an appeal to the Prosecutor of Uzhgorod Interdistrict Prosecution Office Oleksandr Andryshyn on issue of reporting at the next meeting of Chop City Council on the work of Uzhgorod Interdistrict Prosecution Office on the territory of Chop City Council 

Deputies motivate this demand with a difficult socio-political situation in the city and numerous complaints from both the city council and citizens of the city to district law enforcement agencies.

By the way, according to deputies, Uzhgorod interdistrict prosecutor has never attended meetings of the City Council, despite numerous invitations.

"We ask you to come at the next meeting of the City Council and to inform deputies about the state of law enforcement, public order and the results of your work, as required by the Law of Ukraine "On Local Self-Government in Ukraine", – the appeal states.
