Chop inspectors of the customs post "Vylok" documented a violation of the customs legislation in improper disposal of «BMW X5», which is under customs control.
At the crossing post "Vylok" on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, Chop inspectors while checking our compatriot, who was going to the neighboring country by car "Audi A6", using electronic records databases "Inspector 2006" found out that last year this man had temporarily brought to Ukraine an off-road car «BMW X5» and "forgot" to remove it in time.
As the man explained, he brought the prestigious German car in early 2011 and pledged to take it abroad. But this year as a result of an accident the car was damaged and sold for spare parts. So for the illegal disposal of the car, which had been imported to Ukraine in "temporary mode", the protocol under Article 469, Part 2 of the Customs Code of Ukraine was written and penalties will be imposed on the driver.
By the way, scince the beginning of the year Chop customs officers have drawn out 116 reports over similar violations of customs rules – Victoria Senhetovska, spokeswoman of the Chop customs.
