Central bodies of executive power are already considering the proposal of Transcarpathian People’s Deputies to ban car imports from Russia

This was announced on Monday, December 3, by People’s Deputy of Ukraine Robert Horvat in social network Facebook.

According to Robert Horvat, he, Vasyl Petyovka and Valeriy Lunchchenko have received a response from the Government at their request, which was sent several weeks ago. The request, recall, concerned the ban on the import of wheeled vehicles originating in the Russian Federation into the customs territory of Ukraine.

"The Ministry of Economic Development has already prepared draft Government decrees, which propose to extend until December 31, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers decree №1146 "On import duty rates for goods originating from the Russian Federation" and №1147 "On banning the importation of goods originating in the Russian Federation into the customs territory of Ukraine". Thus, according to our proposal, sanctions will be extended for another year," – MP Horvat said.

Robert Horvat also reminded about their initiative to ban imports of cars originating from the Russian Federation.

"In addition, I am convinced that the Cabinet will support our initiative and in the near future will prohibit the import of vehicles originating from the Russian Federation. At present, the central executive authorities are considering this issue," – the deputy said.
