Candidates from the constituency number 68: age, politics, place of origin (Infographic)

The constituency №68 this year set a record: there are as many as 27 candidates for People’s Deputy here. All are different. By age, political appetites, financial abilities, "candidate’s" experience and support or non-support of the public.

Interestingly, among Uzhgorod candidates for "servants of the people", there are only two women – Svitlana Ulyanets and Nicoletta Sabov. 

 

This year’s list of candidates is noticable for a rather young age limit.At least two of them have just recently turned 20: Agosta Yevhen and Kocur Andriy were born in 1991. Among the youngest candidates for people’s deputies in Uzhgorod constituency, there is a representative of the "Right Sector" – Kahanets Ruslan (born in 1989), the third youngest candidate is activist, the chairman of the Public Council at the Uzhgorod City Hall Peresolyak Oleksandr (born in 1985).  They are followed by a Euromaidan activist Yuriy Svitlyk and officer of the State Emergencies Service Shtefutsa Vitaliy (both were born in 1984). 31-year-old Nicoletta Sabov closes the youngest five.

There are four 33-year-old candidates for people’s deputies in Uzhgorod. Those are Kysylychyn Serhiy, Turyanytsya Valeriy, Ulyanets Svitlana and Shchadey Victor (all were born in 1981).  They are followed by those "born in the 70’s": Kovacs Laszlo (1979), Pogorelov Andriy (1977), Kukri Robert, Dovgosh Oleksandr (both born in 1976), Peresolyak Anatoliy (1975), Kovacs Oleksandr (1974) and Vashchenko Igor (1972).

There are five representatives of the 60’s in the Uzhgorod list – Horvath Robert (1969), Slobodyanyuk Serhiy (1965), Kovacs Vasyl (1963), Kovacs Anton (1962), Ratushniak Serhiy (1961).

The four oldest Uzhgorod candidates for people’s deputies are Tsap Mykola (1959), Ledyda Oleksandr (1957), Kovacs Vasyl (1956), Chuchka Pavlo – the oldest contender for the deputy chair (1955).

As for places of birth of the candidates for deputies, they are various.Vashchenko Igor, Dovgosh Oleksandr, Kovacs Laszlo, Kovacs Oleksandr, Kocur Andriy, Peresolyak Oleksandr, Pogorelov Andriy, Ratushniak Serhiy, Slobodyanyuk Serhiy, Ulyanets Svitlana, Chuchka Pavlo, Shtefutsa Vitaliy were born in Uzhgorod.

The only native of Mukachevo, who wants to be elected in Uzhgorod, is a communist Kukri Robert. Representative of Mukachevo district is Turyanytsya Valeriy (the village of Berezynka). One of the two female candidates for people’s deputies in the constitiency №68 – Nicoletta Sabov – was born in Beregovo.   From Khust district, there are two candidates – Agosta Yevhen (the village of Nyzhniy Bystry) and Svitlyk Yuriy (the village of Velyatino), from Perechyn district – Kovacs Vasyl (Perechyn), Horvath Robret (Turyi-Remety), Peresolyak Anatoliy (Turya Pasika), and two representatives of Velyky Berezny – Kahanets Ruslan (Kostrynska Rostoka) and Tsap Mykola (Volosyanka ). Uzhgorod district is the place of birth of Ledyda Oleksandr (the village of Pidhorb) and Kovacs Vasyl (the village of Patskanovo).  There is only one representative of Tyachiv district – Kovacs Anton (the village of Chumalevo), as well as one from Mizhhirya district – Victor Shchadey (the village of Pylypets).

In the Uzhgorod list of candidates for people’s deputies, there is also one "outsider" – Kysylychyn Serhiy, who was born in Chervonograd of Lviv region that, but now lives in Uzhgorod.

In general, 3 thousand 468 candidates are registered in constituencies of the region, including 2 thousand 87 self-nominated and 1 thousand 381 nominated by parties.
