The Government of Ukraine has taken care of 100-year-old retirees. According to the Business newspaper, the appropriate resolution of the Cabinet improves the social protection of veterans, 100-year-old citizens and those who have made special contributions to the motherland, as well as victims of Nazi persecution. Representatives of these categories will be receiving bonuses to their pensions in the treble.
All other 100-year-olds will be receiving bonuses to their lifetime allowance or the state social aid.
The bonus shall be equal to 20% of the subsistence minimum established for citizens unable to work.
