The Ministry of Infrastructure will oblige the owners to arrange their busses with seatbelts for passengers in the near future.
This was announced at the briefing on August 8 by the First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Kostiantyn Yefimenko, informs the press-service.
‘We no longer certify new buses of Ukrainian production, if they are not equipped with seatbelts for passengers’, – he said.
Yefimenko also added that Ukrtransinpektsiya workers will be provided by the right to stop commercial vehicles in the near future. It is planned to arrange special stationary points of control for this purpose.
‘So experts will be able to verify the compliance of drivers with the legislation: the presence of licenses, safety belts, etc.’, – was said in the statement.
