Prices of fuel and lubricants force to start the process of discussing the cost of transportation in the city with the community. This was announced today, February 25, by Uzhgorod mayor.
"I was approached by the Association of City Carriers about this issue.
If the price of fuel increases even by one hryvnia, the carriers will suffer loss.
Surely everyone can see that the number of vehicles in the city has decreased by half. Minibuses also work on diesel fuel and gasoline.
Fares rise in all cities and it is natural because prices go up all over the country.
So far, I can not tell even an approximate figure of the new tariff. It will be determined by the Carriers Association and the City department of prices and tariffs," – Victor Pogorelov says.
