Border guards of the Mukachevo detachment found in hidden cigarettes a Romanian’s car (PHOTO)

Yesterday, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment prevented an attempt of cigarette smuggling.

Following through the checkpoint "Solotvyno" by a car "Dacia", a Romanian citizen chose the "green corridor" lane to cross the border. However, the border guards had suspicions about the possible transportation of prohibited items by this person. The suspicions were confirmed when, during a joint border and customs inspection, a sniffer dog gave a signal. The dog "Buddy" trained to detect tobacco pointed on the spare wheel, it contained 100 packs of cigarettes "JIN LING" and 20 packs of cigarettes "KENT". The found tobacco products were seized. Also the Romanian lost her car, which was estimated at nearly 64,000 UAH. The total value of the seized cigarettes is 1,623 UAH.
