Border guards found two tourists from Germany, who had gotten lost in the mountains of Transcarpathia

Yesterday, border guards of the department "Stuzhytsya" of the Chop detachment found near the border with Slovakia two tourists from Germany, who had gotten lost in the mountains of Transcarpathia.

Thus, having received information from local residents about two unknown persons moving toward the state border, border guards immediately started search activities. As a result, at a distance of about 1 km from the border line, the "green berets" found two men – citizens of Germany, who were carrying documents. The travelers told that they had come to Transcarpathia as tourists and were going to one of the peaks of a local mountain, however, due to the deteriorating weather conditions, strayed from the route and got lost.  

Administrative documents on violation of the border regime were drafted and the foreigners were explained the rules of stay in the border area.
