Border guards found a cigarette cache in a train moving to Slovakia

Last weekend, border guards of the Chop detachment found a hidden batch of cigarettes illegally moved to Slovakia.

During the implementation of customs control of the train "Chop – Cierna nad Tisou", border guards of the department "Chop" in cooperation with the customs officers found a cigarette stash. The cache with tobacco products was equipped in ceiling space in one of the compartments of a trailing passenger carriage "Kyiv – Bratislava."

As a result of calculation, it was established that the cache contained 720 packs of cigarettes of two popular brands. The tobacco products were confiscated according to the law. According to preliminary estimates, their value is 13,460 UAH.
