Border guards did not allow to take a 14-year-old child abroad with forged documents

At the border crossing point "Tisa" border guards of the Chop detachment did not allow a citizen of Ukraine to take a child abroad, the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine informs. The man who was traveling with a 14-year-old boy, during the document check, presented the parents’ consent to take the child abroad issued by the Consulate General of Ukraine in Milan.
However, during a thorough examination of the documents, it became clear that the statements from the parents had obvious signs of forgery. In particular, the form of the document did not conform to the standard, and the seal of the Consulate General was different from that used in general circulation. The man was not allowed to cross the border and was handed over to officers of the National Police.
