Five illegal immigrants were arrested last night by the Border Guard Service officers in Transcarpathia.
Border guard patrol of the department "Horonhlab" of the Mukachevo Detachment detected a group of unknown persons while patrolling a few hundred meters from the border. The "travelers" were not carrying any documents, but they said that 4 of them were citizens of India, and one was a citizen of Pakistan.
The violators were taken to the border guard unit, where reports of administrative offense under Part 2 of Art.204-1 of the CAO of Ukraine were drawn up against them.
Also, additional patrols were immediately sent at the scene to cover the area and identify persons involved in the trafficking of foreigners across the border. Currently, the inspection continues.
