On 24-25 of May, 2017, the sixth exhibition "Book Fest 2017" will take place in the architectural and historical complex "Owl’s Nest" (F. Rakoczy st., 2).
The program of the sixth exhibition "Book Fest" is somewhat different from previous ones.
Firstly, the main events of the festival will be held in a new venue – the architectural and historical complex "Owl’s Nest."
Secondly, there will be a number of art exhibitions and attractions to promote the discovery of new names, phenomena, and a further expansion of the geography of the festival: there will be celebrations to mark the anniversaries of the significant figures of Transcarpathian literature, Shevchenko Prize winners – the 95th anniversary of Ivan Chendey and the 75th anniversary of Petro Skunts.
This year, guests from Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Ternopil and Rivne will come to Uzhgorod. There will be book presentations and recitals of Volodymyr Lys, Nadia Humenyuk and Andriy Lyubka.
