The court imposed on the mayor of Uzhgorod, Bohdan Andriyiv, detention for two months. This decision was announced by the judge of Uzhgorod city and district court.
According to the court decision, a pre-trial restraint in the form of custody or bail in the amount of 440 thousand hryvnias was imposed on the mayor.
At the moment, the mayor is not arrested, his lawyer said that they would post the bail very soon – in a few hours.
The mayor denies his involvement in the embezzlement.
