A 34-year-old Hungarian citizen tried to leave Ukraine through the checkpoint "Luzhanka" by a car "Mercedes", that had been stolen in Portugal. The car was taken to the police impound lot.
On January 12, border guards of the checkpoint "Luzhanka" reported to Beregovo city police that they had detained a vehicle, that was wanted by the Interpol. The investigative team arrived at the scene.
As the police found out, the car "Mercedes" made in 2006 with Hungarian license plates was driven by a 34-year-old citizen of Hungary.
The car is wanted by the Interpol as stolen in June 2015 in Portugal.
The car was taken to the impound lot of Beregovo police. The police are establishing the circumstances of the case.
