Spring is coming, bringing new challenges, such as destroyed roads, pits, and dangerous landslides. In the village of Kalyny in Tyachiv district, in the Velyky tract, where there is a mountain ski resort in winter, there have been minor landslides. They occurred due to intense snowmelt.
Residents say that now there is a threat of landslide and destruction of three houses.
"There is no threat of building destruction. However, they must take away cars from this area and make the fence between buildings and the retaining wall" – local residents say. Local residents collected signatures, appealed to the village head, because living in danger not knowing where a new landslide is going to be tomorrow is scary! However, as it became known, minor destruction at this spot during snowmelt occur almost every year, so anti-landslide measures must be taken.
