Yesterday in the regional center of Transcarpathia, namely in the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "Padiyun", there was a cat exhibition-competition "Miss Kis."
This is an annual event, which a variety of breeds take part in. The competition, according to organizers, aims at: raising respect for animals that are part of nature; providing information on the proper care of pets; exploring new breeds and their characteristics; dissemination of information on new breeds; facilitating networking between veterinary services and pet owners; networking between cat lovers; supporting and encouraginh humane treatment of animals.
Regarding the evaluation criteria, they pay attention primarily to eyes, ears and hair.
The winners were determined in four categories. In addition to long- and short-haired pedigree cats, outbred and hairless cats were also presented at the exhibition-contest.
At the exhibition, visitors had an opportunity to purchase a kitten, some kittens were even given for free. Also visitors could have their photos taken with beauties on their arms.
