Baloha: “We, the deputies, should go from the Verkhovna Rada to the Maidan!”

"Well, fellow opposition leaders. As long as Yanukovych continues to escalate the tension in the society with his reluctance to listen to his own people, we, the deputies, should go from the Verkhovna Rada to the Maidan and together with the people defend the Ukrainian values" – Victor Baloha appealed to fellow politicians.

In his facebook , he argues: "Because what is happening in the Parliament, when there are already 10 candidates for the speaker, is just shocking. Today, one thing is clear: the West gives for the development of the countries as much money as it takes to ensure that the country had a future. But Ukraine will not receive it without participation of the opposition and guarantees from the government. Understand, it is not someone’s political future at stake, it is the fate of the state."

"So, enough to hold auditions at the podium of the Parliament. Evidence suggests that the authorities hear the voice of the streets better than the entreaties of the West, rhetoric of negotiators and even more so – someone’s speech in the parliament. Another thing is that the longer Yanukovych waits to resolve the crisis, the louder is the voice of the streets" – the politician summed up.
