Due to heavy rain and snow, 84 settlements in Lviv and Transcarpathian regions were left without electricity supply.
It was reported by the State Emergencies Service.
"During the 9th and on the night of 10th of December, due to the deterioration of weather conditions (rain, wet snow, slush build-up), as a result tripping of the power transmission protection system, 84 settlements in 2 regions, namely: Lviv – 43 and Transcarpathian – 41, were left without electricity supply", – the report says.
Now, the crews of the regional power companies are restoring electricity supply.
As it was reported, on Sunday, December 10, rains with wet snow will cover the whole territory of Ukraine.
