The other day, a resident of Beregovo called the city police station and told about the trouble with her friend, a pensioner. At noon, two unknown women came to an 82-year-old old lady’s place and introduced themselves as employees of the Pension Fund. When the owner left the room, the thieves stole from the bedroom closet the money in the amount of UAH 1,000.The old lady noticed the loss of the money later, and told her friend about it, and the latter called the police.

On the same day, an 82-year-old resident of Beregovo came to the police with a similar complaint. A few hours earlier, he also had been visited by two pseudo-employees of the Pension Fund, after which UAH 1,000 disappeared from the apartment.

The police are looking for two dark-skinned women aged 25-35 years for committing the thefts. One has blond hair, the other one – dark, they were dressed in tracksuits of dark color.

If you know anything about those swindlers, or you or your relatives have become their victim, immediately contact the police.

Meanwhile, the police again warn people, especially elderly people who live alone: do not let unknown persons in your homes, no matter what they may say they are or what they may offer. If you notice any suspicious persons, immediately report them to the police – the PR Service of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transarpathian region reported.
