Attention, schoolchildren and future graduates of Transcarpathia!

This year, the passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID-card) is mandatory for taking the external independent testing. The provision, which allowed persons under the age of 16 to submit a copy of the birth certificate instead of a copy of the passport for participation in the EIT, has been canceled. The changes were made in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation, whereby the passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID card) is a mandatory document for a person, who has reached the age of 14 years.

For the purpose of the priority issuance of passports to young people, the Migration Service of the region has increased the number of reception hours during the School Days. Meetings with representatives of local departments of education, school administrations have taken place. Issues concerning the organization of reception of students at the territorial units of the migration service at pre-determined hours were discussed.

The list of documents required for the issuance of a plastic passport is kept to a minimum – birth certificate, parents’ passports, certificate of registration of the place of residence, identification code. The service for young applicants is free. This was informed by the press service of the State Migration Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.

Since the beginning of this year, more than seven and a half thousand passports of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of ID-cards have been issued in Transcarpathia, one third of them has been issued to minors.
