The festival of new wine has been taking place in Uzhgorod for three days now. Yesterday, Uzhgorod.in posted a detailed photo report about it. The festival was attended by the head of Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal and the Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv. They talked to all the winemakers, tasted wine, honey, cheeses, and noted that the diversity of the products was impressive.

Recall that more than forty Transcarpathian winemakers presented their products in the cellars of the old, recently renovated "Owl’s Nest". The festival participants noted the good organization of the event and said that they would be happy to come here again. Saturday, according to the winemakers, was a very good day: there were many visitors, who not only tasted the products, but also bought a lot of Transcarpathian wines.

Hennadiy Moskal noted that the cellars are the perfect venue for wine festivals. And Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv said that on the New Year and Christmas holidays, the "Owl’s Nest" would be waiting for guests again, and, in general, the restored building would be actively used for cultural events, various thematic festivals.

According to preliminary calculations, during two days – Friday and Saturday – the festival was attended by over 5,000 guests. Today, all participants of the festival replenished the supplies and are waiting for visitors: you will have opportunity to taste the wines and other products until 21.00.
