At the borders of the EU, cigarettes and cold weapons was seized (PHOTOS)

Over the past weekend, border guards of the Chop detachment together with customs inspectors prevented several offenses.

Thus, at the checkpoint "Tisa", in two cases, the illegal transportation of cigarettes from Ukraine to Hungary was detected and stopped. In the first case, our compatriot stuffed the rear bumper and cavities of his passenger car "Ford" with cigarettes "COMPLIMENT" and "NZ". As a result, the vehicle and 560 packs of cigarettes were seized, the total value amounted to 28,200 UAH. The same fate befell a Hungarian citizen who was caught when trying to illegally export from Ukraine 1,120 packs of "ROTHMANS". The Hungarian hid cigarettes not only in the floor and the door of his "Volkswagen", but also in the seats and even in the air filter. The cigarettes and the vehicle were confiscated and evaluated at 37,457 UAH.

Another offense was stopped on the border with Slovakia, at the checkpoint "Maly Berezny". The citizen of the neighboring country tried to cross the border with items restricted for import to Ukraine – a knife, brass knuckles and a shocker. As a result, the items that the Slovak recognized as his property, were confiscated according to the law
