Today, August 30, around 2 o’clock in the morning, border guards of the department "Dilove" of the Mukachevo detachment prevented another attempt of tobacco smuggling.
Having received information about alleged illegal activity at the border, near the Tisa river, border guards inspected the specified area. As a result, 45 meters from the border, they detected two men carrying packages wrapped in black plastic bags. Noticing the border guards, the men ran away, leaving behind 4 packages of tobacco products.
The packages, containing cigarettes "JIN LING" and "MARVEL" in amount of 1900 packs, were delivered to the Department of the Border Guard Service.
