As of today, a curfew has been introduced in neighboring Hungary

Hungarian authorities have decided to introduce extraordinary protection measures in the country due to the rapid spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus in Europe. They announced a nationwide quarantine and a curfew from March 28 until April 11.

"We are introducing curfew throughout Hungary – from March 28 to April 11. During two weeks, we will be able to leave our homes only for work and for basic necessities," – the Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on local radio. as Interfax-Ukraine reported.

He also specified that from 09:00 to 12:00 stores will be open exclusively for people over 65 years in order to alleviate the epidemiological situation, thus separating older citizens from younger citizens.

Exemptions from restrictive measures will only apply to urgently needed visits to stores and pharmacies. At the same time, police will have a right to impose fine of 1,400 euros on curfew violators.
