Tomorrow, May 8, there will be a meeting of the executive committee of the Uzhgorod City Council, where the draft decision on the construction in the territory of the drama theater – the so-called "Closed architectural blitz contest on Mostovy lane" – will be considered. This was reported on social networks.

Incidentally, they also suggest another solution for the contentious territory: "Why won’t we recognize this building as the newly discovered cultural heritage? This object is a beautiful example of the brutalism style and a monument of its era. This is not a typical Soviet residential building. It deserves to be preserved – along with the protected zone around it, where the new construction is planned."
