An Uzhgorod resident was trying to sell ammunition on the street

On one of the streets of Uzhgorod, a local resident was trying to sell small-caliber ammunition. Precinct police officers immediately arrested the man and seized the ammunition

A 40-year-old resident of Uzhgorod called the police. The woman said that on Plekhanov street a man was offering to buy ammunition from him.

Precinct police officers immediately arrested the suspect. It was a 41-year-old resident of Uzhgorod previously convicted for theft. They seized 17 pieces of small-caliber ammunition from the man. The seized substance was sent for examination.

Criminal proceeding over the incident was opened under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal manufacture, reconstruction or repair of firearms or illegal manufacture of ammunition, explosives and explosive devices).
