This fact was recently discovered by employees of the operational department of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region. While implementing routine measures to establish effective control over the market of excisable goods, the detectives received reasons to become interested in trading activities of a private entrepreneur.
The fact is that the Uzhgorod resident, who owns the outlet, has no special permit (license) for the sale of alcoholic beverages. However, the shop’s catalog includes vodka, among other goods.
The inspection confirmed the presence of vodka and absence of license. The violation of Art. 15 of the Law of Ukraine "On state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl, cognac and fruit alcohol, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products" was established. The materials are under consideration in the department of control over turnover and taxation of excise goods of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region.
We remind that the Ministry of income and taxes of Ukraine has launched a social and educational initiative "Notice counterfeit vodka – call immediately: (044) 284-00-07." This campaign is aimed at combating counterfeit alcohol products and establishment of a healthy lifestyle in Ukraine.
