On January 8, at 02 h. 10 min., border guards of Mukachevo Detachment, together with representatives of the local community and the police detained a citizen of Guinea, who admitted that he had intended to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine to the European Union. The offender was taken to border guard unit for taking filtration measures and drafting administrative procedural documents.
It was also found out that this citizen had already been detained recently. It was also established that he was studying in one of the higher educational institutions of Ukraine, the Mukachevo border detachment reported.
