The international scientific conference "Education mobility, innovation culture and social responsibility as competitiveness resources of European universities" started yesterday at the UzhNU.
Rectors of Ukrainian and foreign universities, including from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Germany, Romania, Kazakhstan are taking part in the conference. It is expected that during the international conference, on the initiative of UzhNU, heads of higher education institutions in Ukraine and Europe will sign a cooperation agreement. The aim of the conference is to discuss the effectiveness of various forms of academic mobility of students and teachers, incentives for creating innovation, technology, creativity atmosphere in general, the introduction of the concept of sustainable, socially responsible university.
The Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko greeted the participants of the international conference. He noted that with the adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education", systemic changes had begun in the industry, which can not be said about other industries in the country. He also noted that it is systemic change that can bring us to Europe. And these changes should be implemented at the regional level too.
