An extraordinary session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council will be held on the events in Mukachevo

An extraordinary session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. The issue of the criminogenic situation in the region will be considered. The Transcarpathian Regional Council noted the prompt reaction of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov, to strengthen security measures in our region, in particular in the city of Mukachevo involving additional NPU and NGU forces following the attempted assassination of several people today, February 7, 2020. We are expecting an impartial and objective investigation into all the circumstances of this brazen crime.
