On January 22, the Day of Unification of Ukraine was celebrated in Uzhgorod.
Once again, on that significant holiday, Transcarpathians traditionally connect the two banks of the Uzh with a yellow and blue flag. The 100-meter-long flag was carried from Narodna Square to the pedestrian bridge by the participants of the celebrations. Several hundred people took part in the symbolic action.
