Activists in Uzhgorod will tell who finances election campaigns of the parties

On September 17, a public forum "Control the money" will be held. The purpose of the forum is to draw the community’s attention to the problem of fair local elections in the city of Uzhgorod.

At the forum, they will discuss issues of political accountability and transparency of party funding, the demands of the community to the parties and candidates. You can join the dialogue between the parties and residents of Uzhgorod, voice your opinion and ask questions.

Following the forum, representatives of the parties and candidates for the mayor of Uzhgorod will be asked to sign the Declaration of responsibility. Thus, they publicly undertake to conduct a fair election campaign.

The forum is held as part of the nationwide campaign "Control the money", covering 25 cities. The campaign is initiated by the Public Movement "CHESNO" and the NG "Active community".
