A unique chronicle of ski competitions in Transcarpathia were recorded by Hungarian filmmakers (video)

No matter how improbable it may seem today, but more than 70 years ago, in March 1938, when the Hungarian army took over Transcarpathia, fans had the opportunity to test themselves in skiing. Hungarian Television camera (Magyar Világhíradó) captured not only amateur skiing competitions, but an opening event of the new ski jump in Volovets.
